The Indian Women’s team bagged the gold after beating Sri Lanka by 19 runs. Earlier, India shooters did the country proud when the trio of Rudrankksh Patil, Divyansh Singh Panwar, and Aishwary Pratap Singh won a gold medal in men’s 10m air rifle team event. Later, Aishwary won a bronze in the individual event as well. In rowing, India bagged two more bronze medals in men’s four, and quadruple sculls.

Indian Swimmers Srihari Natraj, Maana Patel and Vridhawal Khade will be in action in their respective events on the day. Srihari Natraj finished sixth in the backstroke final yesterday at the Asian Games. He will aim to improve his show in the Men’s 50m backstroke this time.

Rohan Bopanna and Yuki Bhambri are the top seeds in the Men’s Doubles. The duo received a bye to the second round of the Tennis event. They are the favourites for the gold medal. They will face Uzbekistan’s Sergey Fomin and Khumoyun Sultanov in the upcoming contest.
