Ashes LIVE: Usman Khawaja joins Steve Smith, Steve Waugh in elite list with twin hundreds in comeback Test – check all stats

Usman Khawaja joined an elite list on Saturday as he became one of the few cricketers to score twin hundreds in an Ashes test match. Khawaja, making his comeback in the absence of COVID-19 hit Travis Head, blasted his way to centuries in each innings to cause a selection conundrum for Justin Langer and his coaching staff.

Khawaja became the ninth cricketer to score twin hundreds in an Ashes Test, joining fellow teammate Steve Smtih, who was the last to do so almost three years ago. He is the sixth Australian to achieve the record, with Matthew Hayden, Steve Waugh being amongst those to achieve the record.
