Stokes’ No ball
Stokes, who was late to join the England squad in Australia after taking a break to focus on his mental health, was also denied his first Ashes wicket when he overstepped the mark in the Adelaide Test in 2013. Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin was caught behind for 51 but went on to make 118 after his reprieve in a previous Ashes series. Australia won the series 5-0.

Jack Leach blasted
England spinner Jack Leach was blasted by Australia on Thursday. He was hammered around the park for 95 runs in 11 overs. The economy rate of 8.63 made it look like a T20 contest with hands on his head.
Meanwhile, the bowlers looked tired despite England bowling 84 overs in the day. England premium bowlers Chris Woakes and Mark Wood looked off colour. Ben Stokes ended wicketless after no-ball.
