Arshdeep Singh Stats in the IPL
Arshdeep Singh has already played for five seasons in the Indian Premier League at the age of 24. The left-arm pacer was bought for just 20 lakh in 2019 by the Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab). Ever since his selection, the pacer has improved season by season.
He played just 3 matches in his first season, 8 in his next, and has played 40 matches in the last three seasons. With 17 wickets to his name, he was the leading wicket-taker for his side in IPL 2023. His breakthrough season, however, was 2021. He took 18 wickets in 12 matches and finished 7th among the highest wicket-takers of the season.

Arshdeep Singh’s stats in International Cricket
The southpaw has already played 27 matches for India since his debut in July last year. Arshdeep Singh has 43 wickets in these matches at an incredible average of 17.67 and a strike rate of 12.6. 22 out of his 43 scalps have been against top sides like Pakistan, South Africa, and New Zealand. He has been the highest wicket-taker for India since his debut and is already 8th on the list of highest wicket-takers for India in T20Is.
In his first ICC tournament, the T20 World Cup 2022, he was India’s highest wicket-taker, with 10 poles to his name in six matches. Among Indian bowlers, including veterans like Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, he had the best average of 15.6.
