Greta Thunberg has spoken about the Andrew Tate scandal for the first time since his arrest. The 20-year-old climate activist said that he ridiculed her because he feels “threatened” by people like her. During an ABC News’ The View interview, the host brought up the Andrew Tate Twitter exchange with the environmental activist. Greta then appeared to have a harsh retort for Top G once more. The activist was asked by anchor Ana Navarro why terrible individuals like Andrew Tate are so affected by her during an ABC News The View appearance.

Greta Thunberg responded, “I have no idea. You would expect that individuals of that caliber would benefit more from spending their time in other ways. There are a lot of issues in the world that need to be addressed, but it seems like they feel so intimidated or like their worldview is threatened when people like me, who are environmentalists, speak out that they feel the need to belittle us and put us in the dark.”
She continued, “It is encouraging because it shows that we are truly making a difference. They wouldn’t be harassing us online if they weren’t doing it.”

While most people were stunned by that noticeable burn, the controversial media figure decided he wanted more and punched back with a laughably embarrassing tape in which he said he wouldn’t recycle his pizza boxes.
Andrew Tate, 36, with 5.1 million Twitter followers, was arrested in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, the next day, on December 28, 2022. Tristan Tate, his brother, and two Romanian ladies were also detained in an organized crime investigation.

Following their arrest on December 29, 2022, Andrew and his brother Tristan were detained for 30 days. The Romanian court imposed an additional 30 days on January 20, 2023. With the denial of their second appeal, the Tates will stay behind bars until February 27, 2023.
After their arrest, the Tate brothers are reportedly in a “hellhole” cell in a Romanian jail. According to sources, prisoners must stay in their cells for 23 hours daily.
