Tate previously stated that since he has so few enjoyable activities to engage in, he always makes sure to finish a minimum of 500 pushups, 100 dips, and 200 squats as well as drink 4 litres of water each day to overcome monotony and stay productive.
This time, he provided extra details about the activities of his day. While being detained, he has very little freedom. He does, however, make sure to complete a daily 10 km walk, 500 squats, and pushups. Adding to that he also makes certain to offer lessons for his students and practise his tiger paw technique.

Tate continued by saying that in addition to taking care of his physical health, he also looks to his mental well-being via prayer, Quran reading, and rigorous lengthy meditation. Following all of this, Tate stated to his admirers warning them that while he is doing all of this while jailed, it would be terribly terrible for them if they did nothing at all and failed to try to achieve their daily goals.
