Andrew Tate Still In Jail: Why?

Their detention had been upheld earlier until the 27th of February, and it has now been prolonged for another 30 days beyond that date.

Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, two Romanian women who were being jailed alongside the brothers, will be granted release from custody but will instead be placed under home arrest.

Earlier on Tuesday, the prosecutors submitted their request for the most recent extension. The ability of “the defendants to exercise permanent psychological control over the victims” was cited as the justification for the prior extension that had been granted by the judges.

The court agreed to the Romanian government’s request to keep the brothers in custody for an additional 30 days after they had been detained for the first period of 24 hours. Since that time, two such pleas have been granted one after the other, with each one extending Andrew Tate’s incarceration by an additional 30 days. The appeals that Tate’s team has made against the extension of their contracts have always been rejected.

In the meantime, the two Romanian ladies affiliated with Tate, Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, were recently called back into jail after being allowed to leave custody for house arrest the previous week.

Tate’s prolonged imprisonment had been earlier justified by the Romanian court by citing the accused’s ability to exert influence over putative victims and the risk of the accused fleeing the country. In a more recent ruling, the court asserted that the brothers should now continue to be held in detention to protect public order, thereby deleting the justifications that were previously stated.

Andrew Tate has also recently dispelled rumors that he is suffering from cancer after medical reports from Dubai that were obtained illegally revealed that he has a lesion in his lung.
