The Technical Committee’s first item of business was to suggest former India captains Oinam Bembem Devi and Harjinder Singh (senior) to be appointed as chiefs of scouting in women’s and men’s football, respectively. Former Blue Tigers defender Mahesh Gawali was nominated by the Committee to take over as Head Coach of the India U-20 Men’s National Team in lieu of Shanmugam Venkatesh, who had earlier offered his resignation, which was accepted.
