On Monday, July 3, 2023, the All India Football Federation’s Executive Committee (AIFF Ex Co)convened in Bengaluru, with President Mr Kalyan Chaubey presiding. The federation resolved to resurrect the much-desired Federation Cup in India at its inaugural annual AGM. The committee agreed that the competition will be India’s main cup competition beginning with the 2023-24 season.
