After World Cup exit, Pakistan cricket team to depart from India on THIS date

The team will first land in Dubai and later reach to their respective cities in Pakistan.

Pakistan cricket team ended their disappointing Cricket World Cup campaign with a loss against England. The team failed to reach the semi-finals after finishing fifth on the points table. With the World Cup exit, Pakistan team is set fly out of India on Sunday.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed Babar Azam and Co.’s travel and flight details from India.

The Men in Green will depart from India in two groups. The first batch of 11 members will depart from Kolkata at 8:55 am on Sunday, November 12. The second group will fly from Kolkata at 08:20 pm on the same day.

The team will first land in Dubai and later reach to their respective cities in Pakistan on November 13.

However, Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali will stay back in India till November 22. Notably, Ali’s wife, Samiya Arzoo, hails from India. Samiya’s family is based in Gurgaon.

Meanwhile, Pakistan team head coach Mickey Arthur will stay in Dubai till November 16.

A disappointing end for Babar Azam and Co.

Pakistan suffered a humilating 93-run loss in their final World Cup game in Kolkata on Saturday. Chasing a massive 338, the Men in Green were all-out for 244 in 43.3 overs. Pakistan entered the game with a slim hope of making it to the semi-final. But their hopes of were dashed the moment England opted to bat first in the game.

Notably, Babar Azam and Co. needed to bat first to have a realistic chance of making it to the semi-final. With the qualification chance gone, the team looked dull in the field as they conceded 337 on a tricky Eden Gardens pitch.
