The destructive batter will join the likes of Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Jason Roy, Taskin Ahmed, Odean Smith, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the Gladiators squad. The upcoming edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league will kick-start on November 23. The Gladiators play their first game against Team Abu Dhabi on the opening day itself. To note, Raina had a successful stint with the Indian Legends during the Road Safety World Series 2022. The left-handed batter had played several impactful knocks for his as the fans got to see the vintage Raina.

Raina was one of the most impactful batters for team India, especially in the 20-over format. Speaking about his numbers in the T20I format, the left-handed batter represented India in 78 matches and amassed 1604 runs at an average of almost 30. He played at a strike rate of 134.79 with five fifties and one century to his name.

Due to his fearless nature of batting, Raina ruled the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the past many years. He was also famously known as the ‘Mr. IPL for his consistent performance in the franchise-based league. Raina played a total of 205 IPL games and stroked 5528 runs at an excellent strike rate of 136.73. He also smashed 39 fifties and one century in the world’s toughest franchise-based league.
The 35-year-old, having retired from international cricket in 2020 along with the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The veteran batter also announced his retirement from IPL this year after no franchise bid for him during the IPL auctions.
