Aaron Finch Retirement: Aaron Finch has ended his illustrious career in international cricket. On Tuesday morning at the MCG, Finch told reporters about this shocking choice. This means Australia will have a new captain when they return to take the field later this year in T20s. The choice to leave ODIs late last year and the length of time between Australia’s next T20 Internationals and their home World Cup, where they failed to go past the group stage, had prompted the move. After the T20 WC, Finch stated that he would evaluate his future during the BBL. He had a productive Big Bash League with the Melbourne Renegades, scoring 428 runs at an average of 38.90. But now he has made the decision not to push himself for Australia’s next T20 series which will be vs South Africa in August.
