Will rain play a spoilsport in USA vs CAN T20 World Cup game
USA has been grappling with heavy rainfall recently, with Texas experiencing record levels. Notably, three scheduled warm-up games were called off due to persistent rain. For Saturday, the weather doesn’t look promising either. Accuweather forecasts an 80% chance of rain and a 48% likelihood of thunderstorms during game hours in Texas.
Winds are expected to blow at 32 km/h, and the rainfall might last up to two hours. While the predicted 3.4 mm of rain may seem minimal, it could still lead to the abandonment of the USA vs. Canada game, as the venue’s drainage system isn’t adequate to handle even this amount of precipitation.

Although Canada managed a strong 63-run win over Nepal in their first warm-up match, their second game was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
