The Pakistan Cricket Team has finally reached USA after their warm-up tour against England. After reaching USA, skipper Babar Azam was spotted interacting with India Cricketing legend Sunil Gavaskar. This is the second time was spotted interacting, the first being in Australia in 2022 during the previous edition of the T20 World Cup.
After landing in Dallas, Babar was spotted having a candid chat with the Indian legend. The duo was spotted shaking hands followed by a short conversation. Gavaskar was animated while speaking and in all probability he parted some of his wisdom to Babar Azam.
Pakistan reach USA for T20 World Cup
After a 2-1 win over Ireland, England were handed a 2-0 defeat by England. With Pakistan playing no warm-up matches in USA, the team reached the T20 World Cup venue just before the start of the tournament.
The Men in Green will be having their first practice session on 1st June at the Grand Prairie Stadium. It will be the be the same venue where Babar Azam and Co will take on hosts, USA in their opening game of the tournament. The two sides will contest on 6th June.
But the game to watch for will be on 9th June. In a clash of titans, two arch rivals, India and Pakistan will lock horns in New York.
