Why did Uganda change its T20 World Cup jersey in last minute?

As per the report, the world cricket governing body asked Uganda to remove the feathered pattern in order to make the sponsor logos visible.

Uganda cricket team was forced to change its T20 World Cup jersey in the last minute, days ahead of the marquee event. As per Cricket.com.au, the side had to make amendments in order to meet the requirements put forth by the ICC. As per the report, the world cricket governing body asked Uganda to remove the feathered pattern in order to make the sponsor logos visible.

The ICC asked for a change in the design but we didn’t have enough time to make the required changes and had to compromise on the winning design. We lost just about 20 percent of the original design, but the rest of the design is the same,” Musali Denis, the Uganda Cricket Association’s public relations officer was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.
