Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is situated in North Sound, Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda. Named after West Indies cricket legend Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards. It was initially built for the 2007 ICC World Cup, where the stadium hosted a few Super 8 games. Since then, the stadium has been used regularly for cricket matches. The stadium usually accommodates seating for approximately 10,000 people.
This ground has also been part of a few controversies in the past. Especially due to its outfield, which has a heavy sandy cover, making fielding dangerous.
