Fortune favoured spinner Suni Narine on Sunday as a decision taken by the on-field umpire backfired and turned in their favour after a review. A beautiful delivery off Narine beat Jaydev Unadkat’s bat, struck his pad and went to crash into the stumps. However, the bails remained intact, forcing the on-field umpire to give his decision as ‘not out’.
Narine’s bowled turned LBW delivery
KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer took a last-minute review to challenge the not out decision. Ball tracking then showed the delivery going on to hit the stumps, thereby forcing the third umpire to overturn the on field’s umpires decision.
