He allegedly intended to capitalize on these perceived weaknesses to enter the field during the RCB vs CSK encounter. News of Sequeira’s plan gained traction online, with many criticizing his actions and urging authorities to intervene.
The Bengaluru police shared a post on Saturday revealing how they acted swiftly and apprehended Sequeira before he could execute his plan.

What happens if RCB vs CSK is washed out
As the two sides prepare for their match, there is a strong chance of rain, which might have a huge impact on the outcome. If rain spoils the match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s playoff aspirations may be jeopardised. CSK is now in third place with 14 points, with RCB following closely behind with 12 points. A rain-affected game that ends in a washout would award each club one point, boosting CSK’s playoff hopes. Even a close defeat versus RCB would secure CSK’s qualifying.
RCB has a net run rate (NRR) of +0.387, while CSK has an NRR of +0.528. This means that even a win for RCB may not dramatically change the rankings.A defeat would require CSK to reduce their margin in order to keep their advantage. For example, if RCB sets a target of 200 runs, CSK must pursue at least 182 to remain in a good position. A win would assure CSK a berth in the IPL 2024 playoffs.
