RR vs PBKS Player Ratings: Here’s how much players are getting in Match No. 65

With Rajasthan Royals losing their game against Punjab Kings, the Kolkata Knight Riders have confirmed their top spot in IPL 2024.

RR vs PBKS Player Ratings: In a surprising turn of events, Punjab Kings defeated the already playoffs-qualified Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets in their 65th match of IPL 2024.

RR set a target of 145, with Riyan Parag top-scoring with a 48. PBKS’ chase started poorly, but a brilliant 63 by skipper Sam Curran and a supporting 22 from Jitesh Sharma put them back in control. Ashutosh Sharma sealed the win with some late boundaries, giving PBKS the triumph.

RR vs PBKS Player Ratings: Did any player score 10/10?

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Yashasvi Jaiswal (1/10): Jaiswal continued his lull period. He started off well with a four on the first ball but was quickly dismissed a couple of balls later.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore (6.5/10): A much-awaited debut for the Englishman didn’t end up on what RR would’ve hoped. While he looked decent when on the crease, he struggled to time the ball and thus made 18 off 23.

Sanju Samson (7/10): Skipper Samson played some delightful strokes but failed to convert his 18 runs into a big one.

Riyan Parag (9/10): Top-scored in the game for RR and was one of the major reason why RR could manage to put up a respectable total.

Dhruv Jurel (1/10): A forgettable golden duck for Dhruv Jurel!

Rovman Powell (3/10): The West Indian skipper played a textbook style cover drive off his first delivery but was dismissed after facing five balls.

Ravichandran Ashwin (8/10): This time he has gained points for his batting more than his crafty off-spin. Ashwin came up with a crunch cameo of 28 in 19 balls, which included 3 fours and a six as well.

Donovan Ferreira (4/10): Came in as an impact sub within the first innings, much was expected from him. However, Ferreira wasted the impact option as he walked out with just six runs.

Trent Boult (7/10): Moved the ball quite well initially and toon the wicket of Prabhsimran Singh due to that as well. However, his economy of 9.00 was worst among all RR bowlers.

Sandeep Sharma (7/10): While he didn’t get any wickets off his variations, Sandeep leaked runs at a miserly economy rate of 7.00.

Avesh Khan (8.5/10): Avesh turned the match on its head when he grabbed two back-to-back wickets, that too, of dangerous hitters. Avesh ended with 2/28.

Yuzvendra Chahal (8/10): The wily tweaker bagged two crucial wickets in Jonny Bairstow and Jitesh Sharma. He bowled decently on a track that aided spin bowling.

Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Prabhsimran Singh (2/10): Fell prey to Boult’s swing bowling up front as Prabhsimran skied one up in the air.

Jonny Bairstow (3.5/10): A painstaking 22-ball 14 for the Englishman. Apart from his century, Bairstow didn’t get a 50+ score this season.

Rilee Rossouw (7/10): Looked in superb touch as he smoked five boundaries. Was unfortunate to get out.

Shashank Singh (1/10): The talented finisher recorded his maiden duck of the season.

Jitesh Sharma (6/10): Jitesh did get a score 22 but should’ve converted his start.

Ashutosh Sharma (8.5/10): Remained unbeaten and hit the winning runs as well.

Sam Curran (9.5/10): An absolute captain’s knock from Curran, who ended his IPL 2024 campaign with a match-winning performance. He first took two wickets before hammering 63*.

Harpreet Brar (4/10): Bowled just a single over and was taken for 10 runs.

Harshal Patel (9/10): The Purple Cap holder, Harshal was at his best yet again as he bowled some outstanding yorkers.

Nathan Ellis (8.5/10): It was Ellis’ maiden IPL 2024 game and he proved why he is a handy customer in the format, taking Samson’s wicket and leaking runs at a rate of 6.00.

Rahul Chahar (9/10): Was absolute handful at a sluggish Guwahati pitch as he bagged 2/26.

Arshdeep Singh (8/10): The left-arm pacer was showed a solid display of death and swing bowling.
