Pakistan does it again! Makes costly fielding blunders against Ireland

The Pakistan team and their love for poor fielding seem to be made in heaven, as the team never disappoints with their poor fielding efforts. Speaking seriously, they once again showed us against Ireland why they are still lacking when it comes to protecting the field.

Wow, and that’s not what you’d expect from an international cricket team, dropping such a dolly catch. But when it’s Pakistan, you can, as once again, Pakistan fielders have disappointed cricket lovers with their fielding standards. In the ongoing 3rd T20I match between Pakistan and Ireland, we once again witnessed Pakistan’s lackluster fielding performance against the Irish side, as it seems they don’t want to field properly.

Speaking about what exactly happened, firstly, their emerging batter, who is known for his hard-hitting striking skills, Azam Khan, who unfortunately is not known for fielding, dropped an easy stumping chance on Lorcan Tucker. After that, Tucker went on to score an impressive knock of 73 runs. Not just Azam Khan, but his fellow Fakhar Azam also contributed to the lackluster fielding by dropping the catch of Harry Tector.

With the T20 World Cup just a few days away, their fielding issue is surely chronic. If they can’t address this fully, it is a worrying sign for them.

Why Shaheen Afridi Why!

Not only Azam Khan and Fakhar Zaman, it looks like their premier pacer is surely not a good fielder, after delivering an amazing 4-hour spell where he gave up just 14 runs and also took 3 wickets. But when it came to fielding, he disappointed everyone.

As in the 11th over, when Imad came to bowl, on his 4th ball of the over, Tucker chipped the ball towards long off. It looked like Shaheen would surely go for a catch, but he clearly misjudged it, and the ball crossed the boundary, leaving Shaheen and the whole Pakistan team in humiliation.
