The Pakistan Cricket Team has come under the scanner yet again. The Men in Green were handed a 5-wicket loss in the first T20I match at Dublin. As a result, former Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal has criticised the team. He went on to claim that the team needs to progress well.
Kamran Akmal has gone on to criticise the Pakistani players. He went on to claim that the players are currently more focused on personal affairs rather than on being focused on team.
Don’t Prioritise Personal Goals
“We will get better when we will try to play good cricket. The players must think about the team and we will continue to lose if things stay like this. I am looking that players are prioritising personal goals which is not good for the side. The team management will soon identify this,” Kamran Akmal said on his YouTube channel.
Kamran Akmal went on to explain how the players need to prioritize team success. He claimed that being focused on individual goals often hinders the progress of the team. On the other hand, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam blamed his side for poor fielding and bowling after losing the game.
Pakistan is currently in Ireland playing a 3-match T20I series. With the first match done and dusted, the Men in Green will be keen to turn things around in the last 2 matches.
