The IPL 2024 is moving towards its business end. The season has produced some great moments for cricket fans, with teams scoring 200-250 runs on a daily basis. With so many runs being scored in almost every match, perhaps it is not a surprise that IPL 2024 has seen the most centuries in a single IPL season. The number of centuries scored in IPL 2024 now stands at 14, already two more than the previous best of 12 scored in 2023.
Reaching a century in a Twenty20 match is never simple. Because of its fast tempo and low ball count, a batter can only score in the three figures with very good batting. However, the competition has seen some incredible knocks this year, with batters scoring centuries at will as bowlers struggle to keep the lid on.
