Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Daryl Mitchell is known within the group as a fun-loving and generous person. Ahead of their match against Gujarat Titans on May 10, Mitchell’s gesture towards a fan won hearts.

Mitchell was practicing on Chepauk Stadium’s sidelines on Monday. He was practicing his pull shots with a short net keeping the balls from going towards the general public watching the practice from the stands.
During the session, one of Mitchell’s pull shots went over the safety net and injured a spectator who was recording Mitchell’s video. The spectator’s iPhone was broken in addition to him being hurt.
