Mumbai Indians pacer Nuwan Thushara aimed a beamer at SRH skipper Pat Cummins, leaving the latter a little taken aback. The incident occurred in the 3rd delivery of the 17th over. Cummins attempted to deflect the beamer, which was later called a no-ball, while the batters ran three runs in between the wickets.

The delivery was a high-full toss that was almost chest high. A free hit was awarded to SRH following the lethal delivery. Overall, the Sri Lankan pacer’s bowling was quite erratic, studded with lots of extras. He finished his spell with figures of 0/42.
