Flop performers in 2024 IPL

Ajinkya Rahane (CSK)

CSK opener Ajinkya Rahane has failed to get going in the ongoing edition. The right-handed batter has played 10 matches and scored 208 runs at an average of 20.80. He has not scored even a single fifty and is playing at a strike rate of 123.38.

Glenn Maxwell (RCB)

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was in terrific form before the 2024 IPL. However, his form dropped massively in the ongoing season. So far, Maxwell has scored just 37 runs in 7 outings averaging just 5.14. His strike rate is also below 100. With the ball, he has scalped 5 wickets but has an economy rate of 8.67.

Wriddhiman Saha (GT)

Another senior player on the list, Wriddhiman Saha has not shown his best in IPL. The wicketkeeper-batter has scored 136 runs averaging 15.11. He has a strike rate of 118 with no fifty to his name so far.

Hardik Pandya (MI)

Leading Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya has failed to get going with both bat and the ball. The impact of his performance is also reflecting with MI placed last in the IPL 2024 points table. Pandya has managed to score 198 runs in 11 innings at an average of 19.80. He has not scored a single fifty in the ongoing competition. Pandya has managed to scalp nine wickets but bowls at an expensive economy rate of 9.18.

Deepak Chahar

CSK premier pacer Deepak Chahar has failed to get going in IPL 2024. The right-arm pacer has played 7 matches and has managed to scalp just 5 wickets. Chahar is also bowling at an expensive economy rate of 8.61. Chahar has been poor with the new ball which has been his strength over the years.
