It is not just the IPL 2024 ticket prices that have sky-rocketed, but it is also the airfare for the routes where the teams are playing. Now, as per a report in India Today, the airfare between the New Delhi to Dharamsala route has reached a new high between May 5 and May 9. While the usual prices are somewhere between 6-7k, due to the CSK vs PBKS match on the 5th, the prices have jumped to 24-27k.
MS Dhoni Effect?
For all you know, the increased demand in flight tickets on the route could be due to MS Dhoni. In short, the fans don’t want to miss an opportunity to see Thala in action, who could be playing his last IPL matches this season. For the same CSK vs PBKS match, the ticket prices have already soared.

The HPCA, the hosts for the match have put a steep price to see MS Dhoni in action. The cheapest ticket at the venue for the match is INR 7,500. It is at least 6,300 more than, for the previous matches at the stadium. In fact, the most expensive tickets were priced at INR 3000.
