Jake Fraser-McGurk’s explosive innings left the fans thrilled as he gave Delhi a solid start against Mumbai Indians. The Delhi Capitals opener Jake Fraser-McGurk equalled his record of the fastest fifty of the IPL 2024 season.
The right-hander hit his half-century in 15 balls, including a six off leg-spinner Piyush Chawla. Fraser-McGurk hit a 15-ball fifty against Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier in the competition at the same venue. McGurk, who appeared to be on his way to his first century of the season, was eventually bowled by Chawla for 84 runs off 27 balls. McGurk had hit eleven boundaries and six maximums.
