Rahul Dravid, the former Indian cricket captain and current head coach of the Indian team, made a notable appearance at a polling booth in Bengaluru on Friday to cast his vote for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
In a display of civic duty, Dravid joined the queue like any other citizen before exercising his right to vote. Speaking to the media after casting his vote, Rahul Dravid emphasised the importance of voting, stating, “Everyone must come out and vote. It is an opportunity we get in a democracy.”
Rahul Dravid’s former teammate and legendary spinner, Anil Kumble, also participated in the electoral process in Bengaluru.

Karnataka, a crucial state contributing 28 seats to the 543-member Parliament, is undergoing the second phase of Lok Sabha elections on Friday. Polling is being conducted for 14 seats across various constituencies in the state, including Udupi Chikamagalur, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, and Bangalore Central, among others.
The voting process commenced at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm, providing citizens with the opportunity to participate in shaping the nation’s democratic process.
