‘We’ve got Rishabh Pant’: Delhi Capitals release fun anthem for their skipper

Pant has been out of cricket since suffering a car accident in December 2022. He has only made a comeback to the game with IPL 2024.

Rishabh Pant has always been a favourite among his peers, fans and general cricket lovers alike. However, no one has ever made an anthem on Rishabh Pant. That is exactly what happened on Friday when Delhi Capitals released an anthem for their captain.

Pant’s 14 month exile

Rishabh Pant has made a comeback to international cricket after more than 14 months. Pant suffered a car accident in December 2022. He was out of cricket since then and has only made a comeback in IPL 2024.

Pant missed a number of important tournament during his absence from the cricket field. He was unable to take park in World Test Championship 2023, IPL 2023, ODI World Cup 2023 and other series in India.

Back with a bang

However, he has made a comeback to competitive cricket in IPL 2024 and his colleagues and fans are loving every moment of his comeback.

Anthem for Pant

Apparently, the Delhi Capitals franchise are relieved to have him back, as evident by the anthem he has made. DC on Friday posted a video of Rishabh interacting with various kids and put out the anthem as a background song.

Latest News on IPL

The lyrics of the song goes, “We’ve got Rishabh Pant, I just don’t think you understand, he’ll hit you for a six, he’ll babysit the kids, we have Rishabh Pant.”

Now, only his full-fledged return to cricket with the Indian team remains on the bucket list.
