GT vs DC Playing XI: Solitary change for Gujarat Titans as Capitals plan to go unchanged

GT vs DC: Sai Kishore to replace Noor Ahmad for Gujarat Titans while Delhi Capitals unlikely to tweak winning combination

Gujarat Titans are all slated to take on Delhi Capitals in a mid table clash in IPL 2024. A win for GT will see them reach the 4th spot in the table. Shubman Gill and Co are likely to make a solitary change in their ranks as Sai Kishore looks to replace Noor Ahmad. Delhi Capitals however will likely go unchanged from their previous game.

The GT vs DC clash will be an entertaining clash. Both teams are back after respective wins against RR and LSG. The impetus will be on hosts Gujarat Titans to secure back to back wins in the tournament to stay in the hunt for the top 4 spot at the end of the group stage.

Solitary change for Gujarat Titans

In their previous game, Gujarat Titans became the first team in the tournament to beat Rajasthan Royals. GT went on to chase down 196 runs with a collective team effort. Skipper Shubman Gill shone with the bat after his brilliant knock of 72 runs. But heading into the DC clash, GT are likely to make a change.

Spinner Sai Kishore is expected to be back in the Playing XI. He will likely replace the likes of Noor Ahmad. In the previous game, Noor Ahmad went on to leak 43 runs in his 4 overs without bagging a single wicket.

GT Playing XI: Shubman Gill (C), Matthew Wade (WK), Sai Sudharsan, David Miller, Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tewatia, Abhinav Manohar, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Umesh Yadav, Spencer Johnson

Delhi Capitals to go unchanged!

Building on in their winning momentum, Delhi Capitals are unlikely to make any changes. The Capitals went on to beat LSG away from home to secure a win by 6 wickets. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Rishabh Pant’s 55 & 41 was enough to sink KL Rahul’s side. Despite being in the bottom half of the table, DC will look to put up a big fight to GT.

DC Playing XI: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Shai Hope, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Tristan Stubbs, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed
