KKR vs RR Highlights: All they do is win! The Rajasthan Royals and Jos Buttler have pulled out another miraculous win. For the second time in seven matches, Buttler has taken his side to a win on the last ball of the match. With 103 runs still needed in 7.4 overs and just four wickets left, the opener guided RR to the highest successful run-chase and declined Sunil Narine the glory.
Bow down to Jos the Boss
Jos Buttler took his team across the line on the last ball of the match for the second time in the IPL 2024. The opener looked scratchy at the start, looked like he was playing a match-losing knock, and had scored just 40 in 30 balls at one point. However, after the 14th over, he seemed to have entered a different mode. Such was his brilliance that Rajasthan chased down 79 runs in the last 5 overs to register the highest-ever successful run chase.
IPL 2024
The Sunil Narine Show
Narine was a one-man army today. He nearly won the Kolkata Knight Riders on his own. He top-scored in the match with his maiden T20 and IPL ton, scoring 109 from just 56 balls. The mystery spinner then returned to take 2 wickets and was his side’s most economical bowler. Unfortunately, his brilliance neither earned him a ‘Player of the Match’ award nor his team a win.
Just one hand needed, says Avesh Khan
In a match that was dominated by two individuals, Avesh Khan created an ever-lasting memory. The fast bowler threw his hat as a contender for the best catch of the IPL 2024 season. Avesh pulled off a stunner of his own bowling, plucking a ball struck beautifully by Phil Salt out of thin air. The pacer grabbed the ball in just 0.60 seconds, and he did so with his non-dominant arm as well.
