Rajasthan Royals will look to keep their top spot in the IPL 2024 table as they take Punjab Kings at the Mullanpur Stadium. The PBKS vs RR game will start at 7:30 PM.
Winning the toss, RR Captain Sanju Samson chose to bowl first. However, Samson revealed that the team were not going to think ahead of themselves as they looked to take it one game at a time,
“We’ll bowl first, it looks like a decent wicket to bowl first. We’ve made a target to not think about the goal, focus on the process, work on building the team and we’re doing well,” said Sanju.
Sanju Samson wary of injuries
While in a funny turn, Sanju Samson forgot the exact playing Xi, he did reveal that the team have been grappling with injuries. Opening batter Jos Butler along with Ravichandran Ashwin have been ruled out of the clash with Rovman Powell and Tanush Kotian replacing them.

“A lot of challenges outside as well, we’ve many players missing from tonight’s game. 90% of the game was good – Jos isn’t 100%, Ash bhai is having a niggle, so Rovman and Kotian come into the XI” he added.
