The Rajasthan Royals have suffered two major blows. Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin are both out of the PBKS vs RR match. The two IPL greats are out injured, according to RR captain Sanju Samson. In their absence, West Indian Rovman Powell will play his first match of the season, while Tanush Kotian will make his IPL debut.
The off-spinning all-rounder was announced as a replacement for Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa last month. The 25-year-old was picked after having an incredible Ranji Trophy 2024 season and now comes in as a like-for-like replacement for Ravichandran Ashwin.
