Trent Boult and Jos Buttler on Friday had a blast in a rapid fire session posted by the Rajasthan Royals on their ‘X’ handle. In a hillarious exchange, when Boult asked Buttler who had the best cover drive in the business, Joss Buttler first replied, “Yuzvendra Chahal”, prompting to a round of laughter among the two.
Rajasthan Royals have had an electric start to the tournament, having won 4 of the first 5 games of the IPL 2024 season. Joss Buttler has been instrumental in Rajasthan’s success, already scoring a century in the tournament.
Trent Boult, in a funny chat with Buttler, asked who had the best cover drive among the players playing in World Cricket right now. .
Buttler started with, “Yuvi has been working on his batting quite a lot, I’ve heard. But I’m going to say Virat Kohli.”
Notably, Chahal has been portraying himself as a batter ahead of IPL 2024. He has been heard saying he will open for RR in previous videos. The banter in all probability is a dig at that aspiration.
