Expectations are always sky high on Virat Kohli. One such incident took place in the MI vs RCB clash in IPL 2024. The entire Wankhede crowd started chanting that they wanted to see Kohli bowl. But the former Indian skipper immediately smiled and touched his ears saying no.

The Wankhede crowd was ecstatic to see Virat Kohli. While he didn’t fair well with the bat, he was a lively figure when Mumbai Indians were batting. The crowd shouted “Kohli ko bowling do” (Let Kohli bowl).

But the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper quickly smiled, touched his ears indicating that he won’t bowl.

New Year, Same Old RCB

A brand new season of IPL, and RCB remain the same. Out of 6 matches played, Virat Kohli’s side has managed to register win in just a solitary game. They currently occupy the bottom last spot in the IPL 2024 Points Table. Batting first, RCB managed to score 196 runs on the board.

Dual fifties from Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar helped the visitors pile up a big score. For Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc as he scalped a brilliant fifer. But, blistering fifties from Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav was enough to help MI win their second consecutive game in the season.
