RR vs GT: Gujarat Titans makes two changes, drops Kane Williamson in favor of Matthew Wade. Meanwhile, Abhinav Manohar also finds a spot in the team.

The Gujarat Titans (GT) will be looking to break their winless streak against the in-form Rajasthan Royals (RR) today at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In a bid to strengthen their batting, the Titans have made two crucial changes to their Playing XI.

GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss, which was delayed by 25 minutes due to early rain. The new GT skipper elected to bowl first. When asked about the changes, Gill revealed that star overseas batter Kane Williamson is replaced by Matthew Wade. Meanwhile, middle-order hitter Abhinav Manohar has replaced BR Sharath in the XI.

Williamson, who played two IPL 2024 games, didn’t fire as he only made 27 runs at an ordinary average of 13.5. Sharath, meanwhile, was out for two on his IPL debut vs LSG.

Matthew Wade, who is a renowned Australian hitter, will bolster the GT lineup and would also be the designated wicket-keeper for this side.

What is Gujarat Titans’ playing XI vs RR?
