Mohammad Hafeez takes dig at Pakistan Cricket Board as Mohmmad Amir, Imad Wasim returns, no promotion for domestic players

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) went on to announce the Pakistan Cricket Team squad. Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim made retirements U-turn in the upcoming T20I series vs Kiwis. This has prompted former Pakistan team director Mohammad Hafeez to post a cryptic post on social media.

People took notice of Hafeez’s comment on the matter. While some went on to side with him, others however criticised him for his failure when he was the team director.

Retirement U-Turns completed

Mohammad Amir made a comeback to the team after 4 years. Heading into the ICC T20 World Cup, Amir claimed that he wanted to be a part of the team and made himself available for selection. The PCB finally made his U-turn successful by involving in the 5-match series against the Kiwis.

Spinner Imad Wasim too announced his retirement back in November. But he was convinced by the Board to change his mind after putting some good performances in the shortest format of the game. His team’s title win in PSL too played a big role in his U-turn.
