Nepal Cricket team unveils new jersey ahead of T20 World Cup

The recently revealed jersey is a striking blend of red, white, and blue. It prominently features the national flag of Nepal on both shoulders.

The Nepali national cricket team’s new jersey for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup Cricket competition has been revealed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). The matches for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place in the USA and the West Indies. The tournament starts on June 1.

The recently revealed jersey is a striking blend of red, white, and blue. It prominently features the national flag of Nepal on both shoulders. The lower part of the jersey also features the famous picture of Sagarmatha, or Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. The sponsor’s logo is prominently displayed on one side of the jersey. While the CAN logo is featured on the other.

Nepal has been placed in Group D, along with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Netherlands

Notably, Nepal will arrive in India to play a tri-series. It will be as part of its preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup. Cricket Nepal has confirmed that its senior men’s team will tour India for a seven-match T20 tri-series involving Gujarat and Baroda as the other two teams.

The tri-series will be played in Vapi, Gujarat and will witness all three teams square off against each other twice.
