In a video shared by the outfit, the former India captain was seen sitting alone on a chair away from the team. However, in a rather heartwarming moment, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was seen consoling the players in the RCB dressing room.
Despite RCB’s defeat, Virat Kohli showcased a resurgence in form by smashing his eighth IPL century – his ninth overall in T20 cricket. His unbeaten innings of 113 runs off just 72 balls, featuring four sixes and twelve boundaries, played a pivotal role in RCB’s total of 183/3.
