Flop IPL XI

Starting with skipper of the side, Faf du Plessis has failed to get going in the ongoing edition of the IPL. In his last IPL innings against LSG, Du Plessis managed to score just 19 runs. Second batter on the list is SRH opener Mayank Agarwal. The right-handed batter was given a few chances at top of the order but after he failed to score, Agarwal was dropped from the SRH playing XI in their previous match against CSK.

After getting dismissed on a duck against his former side RR in his first contest of the season, Devdutt Padikkal continued his flop show against PBKS and RCB. He went back to the pavilion after scoring only nine and six respectively. Just like Padikkal, Glenn Maxwell has also failed to get going with the bat in the ongoing competition. His countrymen, Cameron Green has also looked out of form with the bat.

In the bowling department, the likes of Mitchell Starc, Mohd Siraj, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar and even veteran Ravindra Jadeja have been leaking runs left and right. All the bowlers mentioned above atleast have an economy rate of around 9.
