In what could be the last dance for MS Dhoni, the HCA decided it was the perfect opportunity to honour the legend of the game. Interestingly, this will also be the last time that MS Dhoni will be Hyderabad to play a game in the IPL 2024. Since Chennai and Ahmedabad will hosts the knockouts, hence it is the one and only time Chennai Super Kings will travel to Hyderabad this season.
