Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Chennai Super Kings in a mouthwatering IPL 2024 encounter on Friday in Hyderabad. Both teams will be seeking to return to winning ways, with the reigning champions now in third position with four points from three games.
Meanwhile, SRH is seventh with just two points after three games. Both teams have demonstrated dominance throughout the season and have new captains. During the SRH vs CSK clash, Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Mustafizur Rahman, Pathirana miss out
Following the loss against DC, Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has made three changes to the team. Mustafizur Rahman will miss the match owing to a VISA issue, while Matheesha Pathirana is also out due to a niggle. Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theekshana, and Mukesh Chowdhary join in.
This is Choudhary’s first competitive match since December 2022. He has since healed from rib and lower-back problems. Choudhary is not mentioned in CSK’s XI, but he could replace Dube when they bowl later in the night.
