Watch: Hardik Pandya offers prayer at Somnath Temple after suffering 3 consecutive losses in IPL 2024

The 5-time champions have suffered three consecutive losses and are currently placed at the bottom of the points table.

With nothing going his way, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya has turned to God. After suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Rajasthan Royals at their home, Wankhede Stadium, Pandya has gone to the door of the Gods, hoping for a change in luck.

The star all-rounder has been riddled with issues. His best batter, Suryakumar Yadav, hasn’t played a match in the IPL 2024 season. Two foreign pacers, Jason Behrendorff and Dilshan Madushanka, have been ruled out. And to top that, he has been jeered at every ground he’s been to so far.

Hardik Pandya ‘prays’ for comeback

It looks like Pandya’s prayers have already been answered. Before the Mumbai Indians’ next encounter against the Delhi Capitals on April 7, Suryakumar Yadav has been cleared to finally play his first match of the IPL 2024 season. However, he might still have to battle against the crowd at his home ground, who showed him no love the last time he played.
