“Shah Rukh scolds me”: KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla reveals why SRK vents anger at her during IPL matches

Juhi Chawla, who is a co-owner at KKR alongside Shah Rukh Khan, has recently revealed that the SRK's fiery temperament has often seen her getting in the firing line.

In a candid interview recently, Juhi Chawla, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) cricket team, has revealed a funny reason why she avoids watching KKR matches with her fellow co-owner, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

In a recent interview, Chawla confessed that Shah Rukh’s passionate but fiery temperament during tense IPL matches can be a bit much to handle. “It is not good to watch a match with him because when our team is not performing well, he vents out his anger at me,” Chawla said humorously.

Known for his unwavering support and visible emotions during his franchise’s encounters, Shah Rukh Khan’s reactions are symbolic of the high-octane IPL games.

Chawla further elucidated on her experiences, stating, “I tell Shah Rukh Khan to tell that (his cricketing takes) to the team and not me. So we are not the best people to watch the match with. I think the same goes for a lot of owners. They all can be seen sweating while their teams play.” This revelation offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of IPL team ownership, where the stakes are high, and emotions run deep.
