Cannot outsmart him: Pat Cummins kneels down to MS Dhoni’s genius

Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in a group stage match of IPL 2024 on Friday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins spoke on MS Dhoni ahead of the SRH vs CSK Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) match. In a recent interview, Pat Cummins said that he cannot outsmart someone like MS Dhoni and lastly, he hoped that his side will try to do their best in the upcoming match.

Cannot outsmart some like MS: Cummins on Dhoni

Pat Cummins’ life as an IPL captain has got off to a mixed start as the Orange Army have lost two and won one in their first three games.

My main job as a captain is to get the best out of out guys, so obviously you look at the opposition little bit and see what they’re doing but I don’t think I’m gonna try and outsmart someone like MSD, you try and play your best, try to bring the best out of the guys and hopefully it works,” Cummins told Star Sports.

As stated above, the SRH vs CSK will be played on April 5 (Friday). The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Currently, SRH is sitting 7th in the points table and in case they win tonight, they have solid chances of going as high as 5th in the standings. On the other hand, CSK lost their previous encounter against DC. They will also be hoping to make a comeback in the ongoing edition.
