Willamson started his IPL career with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2015. SRH initially picked him up at a base price of 60 lakhs and retained him at the same price until 2017. He was part of the winning SRH squad in 2016
However, Williamson’s IPL career turning point came in 2018 when the Hyderabad franchise picked him up for a huge sum of Rs 3 crore.
