Sunil Narine has made a terrific start to IPL 2024. After missing out on his first fity of the season against RCB, the carribbean star shined with the bat yet again as KKR made a stellar start against Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals. He tore into the bowling unit at Visakhapatnam’s Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
Narine scored a stunning half-century off 21 balls in the DC vs KKR clash, his fourth in the IPL as Shreyas Iyer and and co look for their third win. However his innings were cut short by Mitchell Starc after scoring a hefty 85 from 37 balls.

Sunil Narine, who opened alongside Phil Salt, was on 24 when Rishabh Pant and DC failed to protest for an edge at the wicket, and he had been dangerous since. Making room to hit from the off side, and if they attempted to cramp him up, he managed to loft them over the leg side scoring a stellar 26 runs from one over. Narine hit six fours and four sixes in 21 balls with a 240 strike rate as he reached the fifty.
