Former India star Ravi Shastri went on to claim that the captaincy situation could have been handled better by the team.

“The captaincy issue between Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya could’ve been handled better, but it is owners call who they want as the captain. They spend the money,” Ravi Shastri told Star Sports.

It was the call of the owners since they spent the money. Mumbai Indians are currently at the bottom of the points table after losing their opening 3 games.
