Ishan Kishan spotted in hilarious Superman outfit with Mumbai Indians logo

Mumbai indians are the only team who are yet to win a game in IPL 2024

Ishan Kishan finds himself in hot water with the Mumbai Indians‘ management during the IPL 2024 season. The mischievous cricketer was caught sporting a hilarious superhero costume, complete with the team’s logo, as the squad departed from Mumbai airport. A viral video of Kishan strutting into the terminal only added to the amusement on social media.

Ishan Kishan’s poor start to IPL 2024:

However, Ishan Kishan‘s antics off the field didn’t translate into success on it. During Mumbai Indians’ home game against the Rajasthan Royals, the left-handed batter failed to leave a mark. Facing a fiery delivery from Nandre Burger, Kishan managed just 16 runs off 14 balls before falling victim to an edge caught by Sanju Samson.

His struggle mirrored that of the Mumbai Indians’ overall performance, with Trent Boult wreaking havoc in the powerplay overs and several early dismissals plaguing the team. Despite a reprieve from an unsuccessful review, Kishan couldn’t capitalize on his second chance, succumbing to Burger’s relentless bowling.

This disappointment marked Kishan’s third consecutive setback in IPL 2024, following a duck against the Gujarat Titans and a brief 34-run cameo against the SunRisers Hyderabad. Mumbai Indians’ woes were further compounded by their recent defeat to the Rajasthan Royals, leaving them languishing at the bottom of the points table.

Mumbai Indians at the bottom of IPL 2024 table:

MI lost their most recent encounter against the Rajasthan Royals on April 1 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, their third consecutive setback in the IPL 2024. The five-time winners are now in last place on the points rankings. They are the only squad that has yet to win a match this season. With their dismal streak continuing, the pressure mounts on Mumbai Indians as they prepare to face the Delhi Capitals in their next match at the Wankhede Stadium on April 7.
