In what’s a good news for Delhi Capitals, opening batsman Prithvi Shaw finally got into the playing XI, as Mitchell Marsh went to No. 3 in the batting order. The talented batsman, who has played 71 matches already in the IPL, will be playing his first match this season that will give impetus to struggling Delhi.
The rest of the batting line up for the Delhi Capitals remains the same, with only Shai Hope missing out. There was one more change in the team, with Kuldeep Yadav missing out due to a niggle. In his place, the team included pacer Ishant Sharma, who was making a comeback after missing the previous match against Rajasthan Royals.
The lanky pacer had injured his ankle during the first match vs Punjab Kings. Other pacers Anrich Nortje, Mukesh Kumar, and Khaleel Ahmed, retained their places in the side. Meanwhile, DC has lost two matches on the trot and are on the ninth spot in the IPL points table.
